Not only am I a Mosaic Diva and a trendsetter in mosaic fashion, (gloves, plastic bags, black finger-nails, cement-encrusted jeans!) I tend to shove the mosaic shard a littler higher than most - how high can I go? Only time will tell as I am passionate about pushing the limits of mosaic adhesives, tesserae, tools and techniques, constantly experimenting and thinking outside the mosaic square.

Many a night is spent on the tiles!  I can't get accused of lying down on the job even though this photo in the Brisbane Courier Mail tells a different story!

I don't limit myself to a particular tool or tesserae!   I mix it all up - using glass, smalti, tile, ceramic, mirror, china, wood, found objects.  As soon as I handle the tesserae it seems to speak out to me and I have an instant bond and vision of it in a future mosaic.  This often results in a "mosaic flush".
