Make mosaics at OzMosaics in a fun and relaxing environment!
Pre-requisite - complete the OzMosaics beginner workshop! Recommended that you also do the weekend workshop so you can hit the ground running in the Mosaic Mondays!
Time: Most Mondays - check the week before! Bookings essential!
What do you make? Whatever you like!
Benefits - make mosaic friends, learn more, enjoy the studio atmosphere, work at your own pace. Leave your project at OzMosaics. Come as often as you like or when you feel the need.
Cost: Only $25! It's $25 whether you are here for one hour or the whole time.
Bring your own tools or OzMosaics Tool hire for the day is $5 per session - no tools leave the studio as we need them for our workshops.
Day Time: 9.30 - 3pm in the day $25 -- $30 if you hire the tools.
Come for a while or stay the whole session.
Night Time: 6.30 - 10pm night $25 -- $30 if you hire the tools.
Come for the whole session or part thereof.
Day and night session $50 plus tool hire if applicable.
Materials - buy at workshop or bring your own
All materials at your cost or bring your own substrate etc. (you may store your work etc here for $5 per week).
Pay as you go, keep a list of what materials you use and pay at the end of each Monday meeting.
Bookings essential! You need to pay ahead of time and if you cancel a cancellation fee of $15 applies.
Please bring your own:
Safety glasses, gloves, apron, boxes to take things home, empty plastic milk cartons to mix grout and thinset.
Bring a plate of food to share if you like! Bring your own snacks/lunch etc.
Bring your own drinks (tea/coffee supplied) or bring your own favourite beverages!
If you want to stay overnight, the Diva Suite costs $50 (can be shared as there are two queen beds in there and own bathroom facilities and deck) and includes a light breakfast.
Please bring your own dinner or order your own pizza if you wish to stay all day and into the evening ($50 applies here for the workshop if it spreads over the two sessions).
Tuition - as it comes. Sandy will be on hand to guide you but don't expect everything in one go! You will have a chance to chat about your mosaic projects and work on them here or at home or both. Browse the mosaic books, help on a community project, be inspired by others and make new friends.
