First and foremost Vegemite Rules and I can't get enough vegemite jars! (Don't even get me started on Marmite...if you must visit the forum to be converted to vegemite. Bromite doesn't get a mention....). Sandy has set up a basement drop off dept to assist mosaic addicts with a source for recycled items that can be used in mosaic art and craft. Please phone OzMosaics first to check if the stockpile needs more piling up and for times that the Drop Off is open. Items must be clean and in boxes or plastic bags, please. A special notice to Popette's darling John who gives us his red wine bottles and to Christopherhero who donates his Australian snakeskins (only naturally shed ones, of course!) for the Steve Irwin mural. Aunty Alison is marvellous with clean milk bottles and Flora containers. Mosaicking Mum is always bottoms up in the wheelie bins getting bottles....I know...sad but true...Sandy loves it! Nan also eats copious amounts of icecream to keep us supplied with grouting containers. Sandy's DVD shows how to reuse soft drink bottles and lots of containers as shard collectors...marvellous for health and safety! Another innovation by Sandy. Wait till you see what to do with plastic bags - enter the Chuck Bag. Book into a mosaic workshop or buy the beginner DVD for more info! Sandy teaches how to mask the wine bottles and keeps finding new things to show you...all in the name of 'art.
