Mosaic Mural - Australia Zoo
Australia Zoo The Irwin family & Australia Zoo are keeping Steve’s dream alive!
Sandy Robertson invites artists & mosaic enthusiasts worldwide, to take part in the making of a mosaic mural tribute to Steve Irwin – the Crocodile Hunter. This beautiful mosaic artwork, made with love by mosaic artists, will be a lasting gift presented to the Irwin family as a thank you to Steve and all he did to bring the joy and wonder of our precious wildlife to our attention in an exciting and caring manner.
Start of mural project 2006 – expected completion during 2008 - updates will be provided. The mosaic mural will comprise of mosaic art donations from artists worldwide a studio will provide the management, compilation and whatever is required to bring the project to fruition.

Many artists were deeply moved and very emotional at the tragic death of Steve Irwin. This mosaic mural is an expression, through mosaics, of how much Steve Irwin accomplished to bring us closer to understanding wildlife and caring for the environment.

Contact OzMosaics for a fact sheet. A blog has been set up, which provides inspiration and information. All mosaics are donated by the mosaic makers.
