What to wear to your mosaic workshop

Mosaic making can get messy (that's part of the fun).

You can relax and really enjoy the process if you are not worried about the state of your clothes at your mosaic workshop.

Sandy often tosses a garbage bag over her clothes during her mosaic class - mosaic fashion at it's best!

Please check the weather conditions on the day of your workshop. Dress accordingly and for comfort. OzMosaics studio is air-conditioned, you may wish to bring a light sweater or jacket in case it gets too cool for you.
Footwear – Please wear shoes & socks. Joggers, sandshoes or suitable closed-in footwear protects your feet and toes from falling glass or tiles etc.
Work Clothes – comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting smears of grout/glue etc. It's a good idea to keep these clothes for future mosaic work. Bring an apron. Long pants are suitable, perhaps old jeans (or something comfy) and a t-shirt, sweater or shirt - you can wear it forever as your grouting shirt. You may consider bringing a clean top to wear home, if you are travelling on public transpor, but generally a apron keeps you fairly clean.
Reading glasses/hearing aid - if applicable, remember to bring these items. Leave bracelets, rings etc at home, so you don't have them dipping in glue and grouts etc.

Rubber Gloves are provided. If you are allergic to rubber gloves please bring your own gloves.

Allow enough time for travel time so you are on time and don't miss out on the start to your workshop. If you arrive early you may enjoy an early cuppa and browse mosaic books or simply relax and enjoy the studio - it's a lot to take in and explore!
Remember to get petrol the day before and check the traffic conditions.
