The Emporium houses Sandy Robertson's art studio, mosaic workshop, mosaic shop and residence.  A magnificent Queenslander has been renovated over many years to become a one-stop mosaic shop, educational centre and meeting place for many mosaic artists worldwide. 

The office of MAANZ is now located at OzMosaics Studio as Sandy (Mosaic Artist & Mosaic Instructor) is the current President of MAANZ (The Mosaic Assn of Australia & New Zealand).
 

OzMosaics caters to all mosaic needs -a mosaic commission, an order of grout, a good dose of inspiration, or the desire to learn to make mosaics or friendship in the chat groups!   OzMosaics appreciates your patronage and rewards you with friendly, professional advice and excellent service at all levels.

Mosaics are well suited artworks for both indoors and outdoors - from courtyard settings, by the pool, in the pool, fountains, ornaments, tables, elegant to extravaganza, balconies, garden or home walls - decorate with mosaics to add colour and excitement to your interior design or garden landscape. Bathroom, kitchen, bedroom walls or bedheads, fantasy mirrors for the nursery or teenager's walls - whatever your mosaic desire - Sandy is able to design a mosaic to suit your environment.

Sandy has a huge selection of mosaic glass tiles and Italian Smalti and can recommend what is most suitable for your mosaic mural - from mermaids to pictures of the Opera House or a rearing stallion, commemorative murals or gigantic mosaic seats - be inspired by your surroundings.  

The beach view from your holiday unit, the city skyline or bridge, the river or outback, your garden or family home, perhaps your pets or favourite sport - Sandy loves to work with her clients to create their mosaic vision and you are only limited by your imagination -

"Covering the cement, in a whimsical, exotic Gaudi-esque style, my confectionary-coloured mosaic murals create a pausing place, before dancing off again; my mosaic quiet hues provide a calm space within a flurry of activity.  It is not my intention to bring the viewer to a grinding halt, but rather engage the mind's eye, moving from the visual to the poetic, allowing absence of something for reflection."   

Art from the Heart:
View mosaics made on mosaic fibreglass mesh for the mosaic mural gift for Australia Zoo  (hundreds of mosaics from around the world).     The Steve Irwin Mosaic Tribute mural will be very beautiful. Discussions are underway for the location at Australia Zoo.  Updates will be given when the installation space is confirmed and work will then proceed on the mosaic fabrication, expected to take many months at OzMosaics studio.
